Odysse launches V2 and V2+ electric scooters in India
Mumbai-based E2W brand Odysse has announced the launch of all-new V2 and V2+ electric scooters in the domestic market. The e-scooters are priced between ₹ 75,000 - 97,500 (ex-showroom, Mumbai). These scooters are equipped with dual-water resistant IP 67 rated battery options, offering an extended riding range of 150 kms in single charge.
The company claims that the waterproof motor and battery will significantly improve vehicles performance and durability, while also reduce repair and maintenance. Other key features in the newly launched vehicles include anti-theft lock, passive battery cooling, 12-inch front wheels, LED lights and so on.
Speaking on the launch, Nemin Vora, CEO of Odysse said, "It gives us great pride to be launching Odysse's V2 & V2+. India is transitioning towards clean mobility and with Odysse we want to bring about a change in how people commute".
"The newly launched Scooter is a step forward to strengthen our product portfolio, where electric scooters are consistently witnessing an encouragingly high demand. Odysse V2+ with its 150 Km mileage will resolve customers from Range anxiety along with providing them refreshing colour and amazing features", he added.
Odysse says that two more products will be added to the brand's E2W portfolio this year, bringing their product range to seven models. By the end of the year, the brand hopes to have more than 100 dealerships across the country. IOT features in the e-scooters are also in the pipeline, to offer customers with connected experience.
In future, the company intends to expand its production capacity as well. Apart from its Ahmedabad plant, Odysse has already started production facilities in Mumbai and Hyderabad.
